5th of July Cherry Pie

I never seem to get to this on the 4th. I tried but couldn't find sour cherries anywhere! Fortunately Kathy's eagle eye spotted a couple of quarts at the Cold Spring Farmer's Market on Saturday. A good friend, especially considering she doesn't even like sour cherries!

Apricot Tart

Beautiful apricots at Vera's called out for breakfast pie. Soft crust, sweet/tart fruit... just lovely.
